I built this 20ft x 20ft deck as a tent deck for a 20ft bell tent we keep up at our off-grid property 3-seasons. Large tent decks take a lot of material and are really only single purpose so I decided to make this out of four 10’ x 10’ sections and use exclusively screws to assemble it. This way if our plans ever change we can disassemble the sections and repurpose them or disassemble the deck entirely and re-use the wood.
This build CAN be completed with just a drill (as long as the wood you get is the same length) I did use some other tools like a hammer and I ended up making some cuts for legs in my video because the ground was uneven.
The deck has been holding up really well for us but I did include an optional design of adding blocking and more footings to add rigidity.
